Focusing on one child at a time!

Our new website is currently under construction

Mission
The mission of The Esperanza Learning Foundation (ELF), a passionate group of humanitarian individuals, is to empower our youth to create educational change for disadvantaged youth in Mexico and in our own communities. The Esperanza Learning Foundation commits to providing youth with knowledge, self-reliance, and life-long opportunities for empowerment through interdisciplinary programs.

Vision
The vision of The Esperanza Learning Foundation is to challenge our youth to thrive and build cross-cultural educational relationships. The ELF will re-empower the forgotten children of Mexico by providing them with educational opportunities in their communities, which will culminate into breaking the immigration phenomena by “exchanging immigration for education.” Our youth will make a difference in the life a child, a community, a culture, and ultimately the world.

“Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever fresh and radiant possibility”
(Kate Douglas Wiggin)

There are many reasons why children are left homeless, such as domestic violence, drug abuse, family breakups, as well as the economic migration of working parents to the United States.  Although it is common to see disadvantaged children working at the US/Mexico International Border (selling chewing-gum, trinkets, or juggling), the ELF will ensure that the orphan children will NOT be forced into slave labor, and they will NOT be deprived of excelling in their education.

The Esperanza Learning Foundation is a group of humanitarian passionate philanthropists, who believe that we can make a difference in the life of a child, a community, a culture, and ultimately in the world!
